I am currently a PhD researcher at the University of Stirling (UK) studying distributional shifts of forest species in sub-tropical Taiwan in response to climate change. My project is funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) IAPETUS2 Doctoral Training Programme and is part of a collaboration between the University of Stirling, Durham University (UK), National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (Taiwan) and the Endemic Species Research Institute (Taiwan).

Before my PhD I undertook an Erasmus Mundus MSc in Mediterranean Forestry and Natural Resources Management at the University of Padova (Italy). For my final thesis I collaborated with Prof. Marco Carrer (University of Padova) and Prof. Lori Daniels group at the University of British Columbia (Canada), to study yellow-cedar (Callitropsis nootkatensis) dieback on the Pacific Coast of Canada.
